Nogakel

The name ‘Nogakel’ comes from the word nogake which refers to the tradition of enjoying a picnic lunch outdoors and appreciating the beautiful natural scenery. Nogakel wanted to create an alternative to plastic picnic ware that was still convenient to carry, as well as durable and reusable. Based in Mino, an area renowned for washi paper production, Nogakel utilizes wood pulp, a material used in paper making, to reduce the amount of plastic used in their products by fifty percent. Novakel’s eco-conscious products are lightweight, durable, and convenient for picnics, camping, hiking, and more.

Paper (51% Cellulose Fiber + Polypropylene Resin) 

Care + Use

Wash thoroughly before first use. Nogakel products are dishwasher safe, and can be hand washed with non-abrasive sponges or brushes. Avoid excessive scrubbing to reduce scratching or damage. Do not use in microwaves, ovens, over open flames, or in freezers. Store out of direct sunlight. 

Nogakel products can be used with hot liquids up to 230°F (110°C). To avoid discoloration, wash immediately after use with darker color foods or liquids, like curries or tomato sauce .

The subtle marbled pattern is a result of the cellulose fibers used in its composition, and will vary from item to item. Slight variations in color may also occur.
